For the lines that I take, Im going to hell For the love that I make, Im going to hell Getting. The Pretty Reckless - Take Me Down Official Music Video - Продолжительность: 4:18 The their second full-length album, Going to Hell, The Pretty Reckless flirt with said theme, most notably on the raucous and roaring title track. Over a twisting and turning riff and bombastic rhythm, frontwoman Taylor Momsen confidently announces, I m going to Hell. Audio CD March 18, 2014. Original Release Date: March 18, 2014. Number of Discs: 1. Format: Explicit Lyrics. Label: Razor & Tie. This New York band's brash second album rages with the upbeat, beat-wise humor that hard rock has suppressed ever since grunge. Heaven Knows and Why'd You Bring a Shotgun to the Party are full-on glam stomps about troubled teens other tracks steal back what Carrie Underwood country and Marilyn Manson industrial took from hair metal. Titillation's part of the game, for sure, but singer Taylor Momsen best known for her acting on Gossip Girl also belts out reams of Catholic guilt. Popular on Rolling Stone. The second studio album was finally released in March 2014, after the band had to rework on it, because Hurricane Sandy in 2012 destroyed a lot of their equipment and songs, they are working on to that time. If ever there was album art that revealed both literally and figuratively an LPs theme, then that of Going to Hell is most definitely it. Displaying a crucifix tattoo on Momsens back, a downward pointing arrow represents the titular declaration. And if anyone needed to have it explicitly spelled out what would send our beloved femme fatale to hell, then the tip of that arrow adjoining her bare ass crack makes it obvious. It is only hard-rocking highlight Sweet Things where this works in The Pretty Reckless favour, with the dual vocal dynamic courtesy of guitarist Ben Phillips allowing some much-needed tempo-switching, as everything from strings to screams satisfy. The saving grace of the Pretty Reckless, especially on Going to Hell, which is way better than their 2010 debut Light Me Up, is that they act as if these long-settled battles are still fresh, so they rail against the dying of the light with overdriven amps and stadium chants as they stumble into quite good bubblegum grunge hooks. Track 3 "Heaven "Knows" composition by Taylor Momsen & Ben Phillips? Seriously? This song is a 1:1 copy of "Me and the Boys" by Slade from their 1987 Album "You Boyz Make Big Noize". Even the drum beat is exactly the same! So please Mrs. Momsen & Mr. Phillips, you can take credit for your written lyrics, but please be that fair and mention that the original music was composed by Pete Hammond, Jim Lea, Gerard Johnson & Noddy Holder.
