I bought this with my student loan in 1997. I had heard of them but never heard them. I thought best to dive in and 23 years later still listening to them.

Road.to sliver
When I first saw this sometime in late 1997 I was on the poor side. My girlfriend at the time said if I bought it we were through. So I waited a few months and kind of kept it hidden. By the time she found it she was probably threatening me with something else. So the girlfriend eventually became a wife and there are no more threats. She finally realised music is most important to me and everything else is second. It's kind of ridiculous how many Joy Division compilations have been released since then.My glue tabs probably lasted three months before letting go.I have no love for anything Paul Morley writes except that letter he wrote me as Otto Flake way back in 1994.

i'v a copy made in uk,code 828 968-2,but with silver metal sticker on the edge write in japanese with number of catalogue Polydor POCD9518/21,probably UK importo for sale on Japan....
Tygrarad
yes, included two inner booklets, one on japanese and one on enlish
Nten
does your japanese version also include the inner booklet with lyrics and texts in japanese?
Karg
Great collection, but filled with typographical/spelling errors, and the glue doesn't hold.
Usaxma
Mine does too. I had to magically and carefully reglue it!
Kagaramar
Wich is the main difference between the firs edition and the reissue? Please, help me choosing :)
Mayno
I don't have the reissue, but the first edition has crappy glue that doesn't hold. I also wonder of they fixed the spelling and typographical errors. I'd say you should buy whichever is cheapest.
you secret
Not half bad. Gets better with each passing year, in fact.
Rias
The ultimate box set from one of the ultimate bands - sure, for most bands, there was a time & a place for them to exist in the history of rock music, but what sets Joy Division apart from other bands is the fact that if they made this music today, or 1,000 years from now, this music would still be timeless & unique, & it will never stop being that way - very few bands could ever do that ! - Music for all of the universe !
Voodoolkree
This Box features pretty much every Joy Division track ever officially released plus a real nice booklet. A must have for the collector. If you're new to Joy Division, try "Unknown Pleasures" first....
