Size Matters - Helmet. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Size Matters is the fifth album by the American alternative metal band Helmet, released in 2004 through Interscope. It is the first new album since the band ended with a bitter break up in 1998. Page Hamilton, the band's founder and chief songwriter, is the only original member appearing on the album. Therefore, some fans object to it being called Helmet and consider it to be a Page Hamilton solo project. According to Hamilton, founding members John Stanier drums and Henry Bogdan bass both. I don't own any right of this songs. All the rights belong to the owners Helmet: Page Hamilton, Chris Traynor, John Tempesta and i'm not profiting 2004 11 Songs. Size Matters. Hard Rock Helmet had one thing going for them in their prime, it was a monochromatic discipline. They gave fans a gussied-up version of the working class scree proffered by Big Black and other Albini disciples. With Helmet, the guitars cut like lasers, not pavement saws. The rhythms were efficient and martial, not frenetically robotic. And while Albini's words were flecked with coal dust and offal and the scarring of 12-hour work days, Hamilton barked and yelped like a guy earning union wages with full benefits and 401K matching. Helmet did lack a certain visceral passion, but they were precise. Size Matters is the fifth album by Helmet, released in 2004 through Interscope. Therefore, many purists object to it being called Helmet and consider it to be a Page Hamilton solo project. Helmet - Size Matters 2004. To favorites 7 Download album. Listen album. The resurrected Helmet pits a growlier Page Hamilton against a new rhythm section, but that's about the only change. Size Matters stutters just like the old days, and favors skewed melodies that, even if they're a little slower or more layered, still sound like New York City in 1990.
